The Rhythm Beneath
From the "Currents & Calm" Collection
The quiet pulse beneath the surface.
"The Rhythm Beneath" explores the quiet undercurrents moving steadily beneath still waters. Delicate, undulating blue layers overlap like quiet thoughts, creating an inviting depth that grounds the mind and slows the pulse. Its intimate scale makes it an ideal addition to spaces dedicated to rest, creativity, and mindful pause.
The Process: Co-Creation with the Elements
Created completely brush-free, this piece unfolds layer by layer in a fluid state. A subtle transparent ground preserves the warm tactile feel and pure character of the raw cotton canvas. I guide the pigmented water with my hands and, above all, by gently tilting the canvas. In dialogue with gravity, the color finds its own path—leaving behind delicate, tide-like edges as it recedes naturally.
